The battle of the Mullahs

Trying to make sense of the matn through the Isnad of any report is nothing short of madness, as to why would somebody even attempt to do it when the very word of God has been preserved and available for any cross-checking is mind-boggling. All infallibility claims are designed to go around the clear words of God in the Quran. Here is my take on how we got to this stage and what went down once the lines were drawn between various sect leaders, In their rush to gain market share all the bets were off :) the Mullah of each sect conveniently ignored the fact that when it comes to the pure message of God, it is impossible to allow any kind of intellectual ''power concentration'' outside the direct control of the Ummah. Hence no unelected ''standing committees''

The kind of debates where competing sects are trying to make a case for a particular report supporting their position is nothing more than intellectual one-upmanship. None of it has any religious significance other than a specific objective of muddling the issue sufficiently to confuse the potential clients. Confuse them to such a degree that they start to gravitate to the comfort of major brand sects as a first step, a tactic well known in marketing circles, thus weeding out the smaller wannabes and leaving the battlefield for a more concentrated showdown. This first step is the holy grail of marketing, that is to muddle the issue and then stick with a catchy easy to understand the message and the ever-present thought-stopping slogans. This is exactly what went down, the marketplace was first bombarded with hundreds of fabricated Hadith by the major sects, especially Sunni and Shias and then the grab for the market share ensued like nobody's business.

The fabricated Hadith deception was used as a direct result of the competitors (sects) doing the same, the strategist of these religious corporations, popularly known as Mullahs of the sects had no choice, deceive or perish. The resulting orgy of reports flying all over the place is what we have been dealing with for 1400 years. The focus of all sects leaders was and is to concentrate on muddling the theological arguments because their relevance is directly linked to it. The endless calls to "ask a Sheikh" and the twin ''you are an idiot'' hence incapable of understanding is strangely accurate in the domain of lies. Most people are incapable of unraveling this elaborate web of deception. Once again the relevance of the Mullah depends on the carefully created need for somebody to explain this particular mess to you, not the Quran, which in fact is pretty straightforward as expected, being the very words of God. It's the man-made mess that is the issue and it is this particular mess which is cleverly positioned so that one is made to believe that it is an indispensable part of your salvation, which it is not.

The positioning of these blatantly fabricated theologies was done by exploiting the inherently human weaknesses of the clients and exploit they did, ruthlessly. Hence in the true tradition of earlier clergy before this latest edition of Revelations by God, two areas were focused upon. The first one is human greed and the accompanying hunt for the proverbial free lunch and the second time-tested option was the need for fixers born of man's inherent insecurities. In fact, all the minor innovations in Deen are part and parcel of these patently false Umbrella theological doctrines, like intercession, Imamat and the chance to wipe the slate clean. All of the resulting innovation can be traced back to these core theological innovation. All the sects are doing it,

The competing nature of these theological positions can be very easily analyzed. For instant, when the Sunnih's Mullahs lay an exclusive claim to what was said or preached by the Prophet Pbuh and the implied Divine intervention, the Shia Mullahs were quick to realize that the Sunni scholars have found a way around the iron clad wording of the Quran by introducing the Hadith factor, and by elevating it to the point where the words of God are challenged (Rajm is the prime example), it gave the Sunnis an unfair advantage. They could effectively use it at will to subjugate their members and resulting influence and power of the Sunni Mullahs was assured..

Once the Sunni Mullahs bagged this corner, the Shia Mullahs were left with the choice to either preach true Islam and abandon their personal ambitions of power and influence as enjoyed by their Sunni counterparts or invent something equally effective and invent they did. Enter the notion of Imams. Since a fallible Imam could still be challenged hence the infallible imam was born to shut everybody up. Now they also had a neat little trick to trick the Muslims with and make them dependent on the ''scholars", read Mullahs. This, in turn, forced the Sunni Mullahs to take that final step and declare Bukhari and Muslim compilations beyond reproach hence effectively infallible. Now both of them are engaged in peddling lies, let's call a spade a spade :), How else were they to go around the pure message of the messenger, by telling lies of course and that is what real taqiyyah is and all sides are guilty of it. The debate is nothing more than a marketing ploy to recruit foot soldiers.

Enter the religious equivalence of inevitable consumer advocates, these dissenting voices were always there and they were the target of ridicule by the sect centric Mullahs as expected. Whenever the Mullahs are called out on the blatant distortions the expected labels of deviant and kafir are not far behind. These attacks become especially vicious when you challenge the theological cover for all these innovations. true to the trend even these consumer movements are hijacked from time to time.

Pay attention and you begin to spot the Mullah pets doing the dirty work on forums all over the cyberspace.

Unless the controls of our Deen are returned or snatched away from the "Mullah", masquerading as scholars, to the collective body of the Ummah, this war of the market place is here to stay,
