Lets admit this one is pretty tame on the laugh test scale. Remember the breastfeeding gem from these loonies. Then there was the invalidation of marriage for having nude sex and the "Bring Me the Head of Mickey Mouse" by the bearded cartoon, somebody cover his ears, I know not easy.
But let's pretend drinking of the Urine of the Prophet and the Earth is flat never happened and let's stop getting our head around how Mars became Haram and no traveling abroad, WoHo, no Haj. Actually they are not as crazy as we wish them to be, it is traveling to the evil West that is the problem but banning Emoticons, seriously !!!
The mind set of these demented lot was exposed when the fatwa was deemed necessary allowing husbands to run for their lives if they fear that they might be killed defending their wives, now that to me said it all :)
So when we hear headlines like “Islamic cleric bans women from touching bananas.” no need to go, yes bananas. Remember if you have money or can raise some, you can find a greedy Sheik somewhere to say whatever you want said, no kidding.

What is the Islamic position on anal sex? Although there are hadith which are clear in meaning some scholars have criticized the isnads as being weak while others deemed them strong. There seems to be no mention of anal sex in the Quran, but verse 2:223 is frequently cited. Furthermore, there are also some reports (which are disputed) going back to Umar, Imam Malik and Imam Shafi’i which support the permissibility of anal sex further adding to the confusion.

Salam, this issue seems to be puzzling for many. Allow me to quote the following verses first:
Delete2:222 And they ask you about [the] menstruation. Say, "It (is) a hurt, so keep away (from) [the] women during (their) [the] menstruation. And (do) not approach them until they are cleansed Then when they are purified, THEN COME TO THEM FROM WHERE ALLAH HAS ORDERED YOU” Indeed, Allah loves those who turn in and loves those who purify themselves.
2:223 Your wives (are) a TILTH for you, so come (to) your tilth when you wish and send forth (good deeds) for yourselves. And be conscious (of) Allah and know that you (will) meet Him. And give glad tidings (to) the believers.
In light of the above verses, even if we assume that anal sex is permissible it will still have to wait till after the menstruation stops. Which kind of weakens the argument for its permissibility. When combined with Quran 2:223 where procreation is implied it would be a stretch to unconditionally give it a green light. Now, add the avoidance of lewdness in Quran 5:5 and we keep going away from our assumption. One can still say but it is not inexplicably forbidden but we must give thought and take the safer option.
